Belgrade has been on my radar for years. It’s less than an hour away from Zagreb by plane and the talk of Zagreb when you talk to people. Everybody seems to love going to Belgrade and only had nice things to say about it. Finally, I had the opportunity to tick it off my bucket list.

It was between Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester and The Ritz Restaurant at The Ritz in London for Christmas lunch. Without sounding pretentious, my husband and I wanted to set the precedent for every single Christmas to come. We decided on Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester courtesy of it’s 3-Michelin Stars, a legacy the restaurant has held since 2010. It is one of five UK based restaurants to have 3 Michelin Stars. It was my first 3 Michelin Star experience and the experience literally put tears in my eyes, it was simply divine.
I’m back in Barcelona. That’s literally the 5th time I have written that sentence on my blog. I’m back in Barcelona with my husband after spending the whole year banging on about how amazing this city really is. I’ve even hinted that there’s a very good chance he’ll want to relocate to Barcelona...
Enigma is a little different to your ordinary restaurant mainly because up until recently, images of the 40 courses were difficult to find online. The restaurant had a no pictures policy. Thinking that I had to adhere to this, I kindly asked the waitstaff if there was any possibility of being able to take a few pictures for my blog, they insisted that they’d lifted that rule and I was free to take as many pictures and videos of my experience.
