It was between Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester and The Ritz Restaurant at The Ritz in London for Christmas lunch. Without sounding pretentious, my husband and I wanted to set the precedent for every single Christmas to come. We decided on Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester courtesy of it’s 3-Michelin Stars, a legacy the restaurant has held since 2010. It is one of five UK based restaurants to have 3 Michelin Stars. It was my first 3 Michelin Star experience and the experience literally put tears in my eyes, it was simply divine.

Enigma is a little different to your ordinary restaurant mainly because up until recently, images of the 40 courses were difficult to find online. The restaurant had a no pictures policy. Thinking that I had to adhere to this, I kindly asked the waitstaff if there was any possibility of being able to take a few pictures for my blog, they insisted that they’d lifted that rule and I was free to take as many pictures and videos of my experience.

For my birthday, my other half and husband to-be whisked me away to Sibenik and took me to the restaurant I spent most of 2017 trying to get a table at, Pelegrini. I’m not the biggest fan of Sibenik, as beautiful as it may be, it’s always windy up at the fortress and it drives me crazy. Plus, there's a lot of stairs in the Old Town, me-no-like. One part of Sibenik has been on my radar for the past 12 months and it’s dining at Pelegrini.
